10 Big Games Coming up at the end of the divisional round:
8/30/2008 New York (NY) Poughkeepsie (NY)
Poughkeepsie has yet to play a top 100 team, but they get their chance in a big way this weekend when they take on the #2 New York Centaurs. Both teams are undefeated and the winner will be in the drivers seat for the championship going into the last two weeks of the divisional.
9/1/2008 (12) Florida (FL) (41) Houston (TX)
Florida and Houston were both top 25 teams that no one thought would miss the double As. The loser of this game is going to need help to make it to the double A. If division leading Louisiana stumbles, the winner of this game may be able to pull out a division championship.
9/1/2008 (1) California (CA) (70) Montana (MT)
California will take it's undefeated and #1 ranking up against another undefeated team. No body expects much out of Montana, but if they win big here they will rocket into the top 35 and win a division championship in the process.
9/5/2008 (11) South Carolina (SC) (42) Jacksonville (FL)
The winner of this game will claim the South East 1 championship and have a chance at going into the double A undefeated.
9/7/2008 (14) Michigan (MI) (4) Chicago (IL)
If the Michigan Trolls can win this they will have the tie breaker at the top of the division. They will then play Illinois in the last week of the divisional to wrap up the title. If Chicago wins they will clinch the division and have a chance of going into the Double A regional undefeated.
9/8/2008 (51) Austin (TX) (28) Texas (TX)
Texas has been a disappointment so far, but a win here will put them right back at the top of the division and comfortably in a double A.
9/10/2008 Massachusetts (MA) Maine (ME)
Both teams are currently undefeated. This one will likely be for the East East One Championship.
9/12/2008 (7) Tennessee (TN) (10) Atlanta (GA)
This will be a huge Friday night game in the South North One division. Both teams have a game to play before this one, but no matter what happens, this one will be for the championship. It will probably be a top 10 match up.
9/12/2008 (73) El Paso (TX) (32) Chandler (AZ)
No one expected El Paso to be out in front in this division. They are still only ranked #73 despite being 5-0. A win over Chandler would boost them into the 50s and put an exclamation point on their now likely West East One Championship
9/14/2008 (14) Michigan (MI) (3) Illinois (IL)
This could be for the NN-1 championship. Illinois is ranked ahead of Chicago, but if Chicago loses to Michigan and then Illinois beats Michigan the three way tie would be broken by rank. It would go to Illinois.
